    Featuring our own Barleywines as well as the best barleywines brewed by our favorite breweries. Beers will rotate through the festival on draught and cask, while they last. Serving sizes are 4 oz. sample glasses. No admission cost, price per serving.

    Lodging Options

    There are a lot of places to stay in Northern Virginia. We’re Metro accessible via the Orange Line East Falls Church Metro station, so you don’t have to stay right in the neighborhood. In fact, there are a bunch of great pub crawling options off of the Orange Line Arlington Metro stations between Ballston and Courthouse. But, if you want to camp out with us late and enjoy Sunday Brunch early, by all means stay at one of the walking distance options.

    Mad Fox encourages Barleywine Fest participants to walk or use public transportation. It really is very easy, we provide thedirections.

    Brunch Menu (available 11AM-3PM)

     Sous Chef Mike’s all new menu:
     coffee cake w/ molasses butter
    roasted beets, mixed greens, whipped chèvre, orange vinaigrette, walnuts & smoked honey
    celery root soup w/lemon & chives (option to add fried egg)
    grilled porchetta, egg & cheese on house made bun w/ tomato mustarda & house fries
    apple, fennel, gruyere & whole grain mustard panino on sub rosa polenta bread w/ house fries
    huevos rancheros w/cilantro crema (option to add braised pork)
    French toast w/vanilla butter, maple syrup, pear compote, house bacon & hash browns
    shrimp & scallop quiche w/mixed green salad
    veal meatballs w/creamy herbed polenta, tomato sauce & fried egg

    This month’s Beer Brunch will showcase a tap takeover by the Devil’s Backbone Brewery. Drafts will include DB’s Swartz Bier (a toasty, german-style black lager), Belgian Congo Pale Ale (an IPA brewed with a belgian yeast strain), and a special edition of DB’s Danzig Baltic Porter spiked with local coffee.

    The fine print: This is not a ticketed event, all items are served a la carte. As is the norm, seating will be done on a first come/first served basis, with reservations being taken only for parties of five to eight ( or 804.353.0670). Please keep in mind the size of our establishment–the smaller your party, the more quickly we can accommodate you.

    PLEASE NOTE: Because the last Sunday in March is Easter, there will be no beer brunch next month.

    1. i like how all videos say blottes and stuff can be purchased at your local homebrew shop , seriously i lived in ATL and Charl. NC, bot major cities and havent found anything remotely close to thess so called homebrew shop

      A t this lunchtime event, producers of high, quality craft beer will be on hand to share thoughtful, intelligent, and sometimes funny perspectives about their use of seasonal ingredients, brewing techniques, and how they get inspirations for new flavors. Area chefs from will be onsite with Whole Foods Market Chef Kiet to demonstrate how to cook with beer.

      The beer line-up includes: Evolution, Great Lakes, Harpoon, Heavy Seas, Lagunitas, Lost Rhino, Schlafly, Sierra Nevada, Starr Hill, Victory, and more. Each beer company will have 2 – 3 different varieties. Whole Foods Market Beer Buyer, Jeff Forest will kick off the event with the cracking of a fresh cask at 1PM sharp.

      The early bird price of $16.00 is valid until Friday, Feb 21. The ticket price is $20 anytime after.
