4 Pillars IPA Release and Earth Day Celebration at Lickinghole Creek Craft Brewery #Goochland

We are finally releasing our IPA and what better day to do it than the greenest day of the year, Earth Day.

4 Pillars DIPA is a delicious, hop-induced libation made specifically for your inner hop head. If you are not a hoppy beer fan, we are sorry. If you love massive, unsubtle hop flavor and aroma, you are welcome.

    Here’s the details:

    4 Pillars Double IPA
    7.5% ABV
    75 IBU
    Double Dry Hopped
    Ingredients:
    English Malts
Hops: Columbus, Apollo, Pacific Jade, Galena
    Our House American Yeast Strain
    Our Well Water
    Unfiltered
Delicious notes of pine and citrus, complete with a strong malt backbone.

    Name Origin:
“Agriculture, manufactures, commerce and navigation, the four pillars of our prosperity, are the most thriving when left most free to individual enterprise.” – Thomas Jefferson

To celebrate the release and Earth Day, we are having another Farm Extravaganza laden with vendors and multiple activities for families. We are truly excited to open up the farm for everyone to visit.

We will offer live music as well as an outdoor farmers market – complete with artisan crafts, farm animals, live demonstrations and children’s activities. The farmers market will feature seasonal produce, meats, cheeses, baked goods and locally made fine artisan crafts

Live music provided by: Andy Vaughan and The Driveline. The time they come on will be released later.

Vendors, children activities and gourmet food to be announced later.

When visiting Lickinghole Creek Craft Brewery please drive safely and slowly in respect to our neighbors and wildlife.

Here’s the layout of the festivities

Hardywood Park Bourbon Cru Release #Richmond

Hardywood Bourbon Cru is brewed in the fashion of the abbey quadrupel, the grand cru of many of Belgium’s revered monastic breweries. Bourbon Cru displays a sunset orange hue with a substantial head and brilliant clarity after months of barrel ageing. The maturity and melding of flavors brought on by the freshly drained, half-decade old Virginia bourbon barrels from Fredericksburg’s A. Smith Bowman Distillery lends an extraordinary sense of harmony to Bourbon Cru.
Almond toffee and oaky vanilla aromatics give way to dark cherries, raisins and mature whiskey. A bit of plum flavor is greeted by caramel overtones and an assertive yet incredibly rounded body and a lingering, bourbon-laced finish.

Bourbon Cru release starts at 2pm in the tasting room with drafts and 750mL bottles, time pin tappings, local mobile food vendors and sets by Horsehead and The Pale And The Leader.

2pm – The tasting room opens with Bourbon Cru on draft and in 750mL bottles, Ginger Mint Julep Randall, and 5 food trucks including:
